Students chose found objects and readily available materials to animate action sequences that reflected the style, tempo, and mood of the music chosen for their class. Each class was divided into groups that were assigned a section of that music to animate. They had to storyboard their segment to synchronize as best they could with the timing of the music.
This blog showcases both the amazing art made by my fabulous students at Oakland Beach Elementary School in Warwick, RI, and helpful resources to share with my beloved colleagues in Art Education. Enjoy your visit. Thank you for dropping by.
